Tuesday (it is still Tuesday)...

My training partner was a no show, just carried on without her.

Squats -- 3 sets 12x95 (2), 10x95 superset with 3 sets of 20 plie squats.

Walking lunges -- 3 sets 12x20's superset with 3 sets 20 jumping squats. No pauses for the jump squats--less burn. Still exhausting as hell.

Step ups -- 3 sets 12x20's (yes, 12 on each side per set) superset with 2 sets 20 reverse lunges (each side). For my third set I tried 20 total plyometric lunges. Scary. Feel a little uncoordinated.

SLDL's--3 sets 12x85 superset with 3 sets 20 swiss ball hip extensions.

No calf raises--no time.

This evening returned for HIIT--completed 12 intervals; total 33 minutes with warm up and cool down. When I walked in the locker room my training partner was sitting there studying the workout she missed this morning. I watched her in the mirror doing lunges while I was on the treadmill and all I could think was 'Thank God that workout is behind me!' It is such a daunting workout...I plow through it one set at a time and still feel such a feeling of accomplishment when I am done--plus I feel good physically in a way no other workout makes me feel.
