Tuesday....tried some new stuff
It's taking some thinking to figure out my workout out routine for the next few weeks. I printd up what I thought would be an intresting and challenging workout, but there wasn't good descriptions of the exercises, so I'll have to do some more research. I did pull a few ideas from it and tried them today at the gym. I kind of figured out what to do as I went along..think I'll feel it tomorrow!
Here's what went down today:
4min on ellipt
alternated body squats with sumo squats. 2nd set did jump squats + sumo squats. 3rd set did jump squat with hold and sumo squat with hold.
3 sets of pushups varying hand position.
3 sets bench press 10X 45/55/55lb
3 sets calf raises 80/90/100lb
3 sets lat pulldowns 60/70/80lb
3 sets torso twist with bodybar (simulating golf swing)
3 sets single arm squats with bodybar (like lifting a suitcase)
stretch to cool down.
Will be swimming tonight with swim club.
Today's nutrition:
meal 1: super shake (berries,yogurt,flax,greens+,V. protien)
meal 2: banana, almonds, pecans
meal 3: thai beef(PN recipe-yumy)
Meal 4: protien bar(PN) + peach
Meal 5: lean mean + veggies
