Tues...what to do....
I'm a bit stiff from yesterdays workout and swim, and I want to swim again tonight,so I wasn't sure what to do today. However, I made my lunch with carbs (Quinoa) so I have to workout to earn my carbs! So I figured I go to the gym and practice my proper running form on the treadmill. I basically did a 5 min warmup followed by 15min run at 6mph followed by a 3min cooldown. I think I'm getting the hang of "heel/toe" running and it is much easier on my feets!
Swimming at 9 tonight....
Todays diet:
meal 1: fried veggie omelet (turned more into a scamble)+ 1/2 grapefruit
meal 2: cottage cheese + other 1/2 of grapefruit
meal 3: left over cedar plank salmon with quinoa and fried veggies (brocolli slaw/tomatoes/red+gr peppers) very tasty!
meal 4: nut/protien Bar(PN) + orange
meal 5: think I'll try the greek burgers + veggies (think I'll cook a good batch of the burgers to have on hand)
meal 6: PW shake (V prot/yogurt/frozen berries/flax)
Lovin these food options! This is the first time I've cook and eaten quinoa. I simply cooked it in my rice cooker and it turned out perfect. I love the flavor and texture. Now I just have to find a source to buy it. I bought a small bag at my grocery store, but all they had was organic and it was $9 ! I guess that's the price of one Guinness , so I should put it into perspective!
