Ugh... hate being sick
Well I have had a nagging cough for three weeks and finally went to the doctors. Put me on antibiotics and cough syrup w/ codeine... sent me for a loop. I didn't go to the gym on Thursday or Friday. Went yesterday and only did abs and shoulders and then came home and took a 4 hour nap. Don't want to take today off but have to get over this cold. I hate being sick, screws up my workout schedule. Well I blooped, had 2 glasses of wine last night, but much better than drinking 7 nights in a row like I had been. Kind of stinks, in order to have a stellar body you pretty much have to give up everything you love. I think I am going to try and do a cheat day ever couple of weeks, including having a glass of wine. I would love to completely get rid of drinking but it is hard w/ my surroundings, everyone I know drinks and give me a hard time when I don't... Going down to the Sunshine Fitness Competition in March, hoping that when I see those girls up there, it will give me the utmost motivation, I would really like to compete one of these days, I know I have the drive, the motivation, and if I could find someone who also competes in my area, might give me that added ooommphh to get rid of the wine!
