We are on the boat for the weekend. Winds are out of the north at 35 mph with 55 mph gusts. Way too rough to canoe so we did a brisk 5 mile walk in 65 minutes and are calling it a day. I've had to tie down all the deck furniture and stow all the loose crap. We are in a relatively small cove and this is the fifth time in 3 years I've seen white caps. If the wind moves a 30,000 lb boat, it's really blowing. I sleep best of all when the boat is moving and the wind is shrieking. This is a great day to be alive.
