Wednesday...No Swimming, but Great Workout at Gym!
I'm finally beginning to feel like my old self fitness wise. It's amazing just how much stress can sap your energy, but I'm definetly on the mend!! I went to the gym and just kind of winged it, but focused on pushing myself somewhat with the weights. Here's what went down....
5 min light job on treadmill
arm circles to loosen my shoulders (swimming is agrivating my tendonitis a wee bit)
Wide Lat Pull Downs 8X70/6X80/4X90
SS incline db press/flies/curls 3 sets all 12X10lb
BB Bench Press 10X45/8X50/6X55/6X55
Lying Leg Curls 10X30/10X50/4X70/4X60
Smith Squats (cage was busy) 10X75/8X95/6X125
Lots of stretching, especially my hamstrings which are extremely tight due to excessive kicking drills in the pools last night.
Felt really good and pretty strong today. I finally feel like I'm ready to go full throttle again. WooHoo!!
