Wednesday....rest day...hmmmm
Decided to take a rest day from the gym today. I'm still recuperating from my cold and I'm a tad sore from Mondays workout and last evenings swim....just listening to my body and it says rest! I've decided to take a more realistic approach to my workouts and try and keep them in a more "normal" range. This means not doing wts and cardio on the same day...most times...and focusing more on max effort rather than max time. I'm taking the same approach with my diet. I'm going to really focus on nutrient rich foods and insuring that I'm eating enough and at regular intervals. Although I am interested in getting rid of some of my extra baggage, what I really want is to get back my energy levels. Oh well, enough rambling...should have worked out instead of spending all this time on introspection!
