Week 1 - Day 1 - The onset - Current Weight 209 lbs

I actually started going to the gym last Thursday (15-Apr-10). Friday I went and met a friend who 'showed' me what to do. That got me thinking - "I need a trainer, a program, something to follow." I found this site, and joined the free portion. I started reading and decided to get more out of it all, I want to lose weight, and get fit, and I figured the best way to do that was to spend money. Nothing motivates a person more that losing money. So, I went ahead and also worked out on Saturday. As I setup my schedule, it started the 8 weeks on a Monday, which was perfect since I could use Sunday as my rest day anyway. So today, I also started the nutrition plan as well. Here's how today went:

Nutrition Plan: Done well so far, but the day isn't over. I'm very close to the fat grams maximum. Everything else is balanced and in check.

Exercise Program: I'm in it to lose weight and tone the muscle.

I followed everything needed to be done today, and my legs are playing the victim card rather well.

5 min StairMaster warmup (Plus I walk to the gym)
2x15 / each leg - Barbell Lunges - 45 lbs
2x15 / each leg - Hamstring Curls - 10 lbs each leg
2x15 - Barbell Straight Leg Deadlift - 65 lbs
2x15 - Twisting Crunches - each side
2x15 - Leg Raises
2x15 - Bent over twists - each side
2x15 - Bent Knee Lying Side Leg Raises - each leg
25 min Rowing machine.

Felt good after, but very sore. Looking forward to tomorrow.
