Week 2

We just finished up week 2 yesterday of C25K. I'm still pretty winded when I run, and hoping that will subside once I start weight training and this weight starts to come off. 

This morning was pure bliss, even though it was tough, but I pushed through. You see, I moved to a new community last summer and no one wanted to walk/run in the early morning. It was easy to get out of a routine because I wasn't motivating myself. Over the course of this week, and walk/jogging with one of my neighbors, she decided she was up anyway so she would come with me. Holding each other accountable totally motivated me. It's exactly what I've been missing for 5 years!

We did a 2.4 miles in a 38 minutes. I'm really pushing to drop that time. And I know... I know... the weight didn't come on over night, nor will it magically disappear over night. 

Hard Work. Dedication. I'm ready for this!!

    Your time is great. The weight will come off as fast as it came on. It's a lifestyle and a marathon, not a notion or a sprint. Hang in there and well done.'
