Where is everybody?

Oh yeah, for some people today is actually a holiday. In fact, my partner doesn't have work today but she still made it to the gym before me. I was late (dang cat went outside in the rain and I couldn't get her in), so she started without me, which is good because normally if I'm not there she just chickens out and does the cycling class. I was proud of her...she had her first set of squats out of the way so I just jumped right in without a warm up set since she already had the bar loaded.

Squats 2 sets, 95x15 each. No warm up. I knocked these out quickly while still managing to keep my form and get down low (how low can you go? anyone want to limbo?) Probably time to add some weight to the bar, but I hesitate because my partner's form isn't there yet--she should probably go lighter than 95 until she gets her form down, but she tends to want to keep up with me no matter what. I'm afraid if I add weight, she'll just try to do whatever I'm doing. Silly, I guess. I shouldn't hold myself back for that reason.

Static lunge superset with 2 pt. dumbbell row w/elbow out:
2 sets 15 (each leg/arm), 25's for the lunges, 30 for the rows. Static lunges are not my favorite...I'd rather do the regular or walking lunges. I am very careful, but always feel a little unsteady and really have to focus on keeping everything lined up.

Push-ups superset with swiss ball crunches:
2 sets, 15 reps each set of push-ups, 20x10 for crunches.
Yeah me! I did 15 full push-ups on my first set, then 10 plus 5 girlie on the 2nd set. Could I be getting stronger? Not bad on an empty stomach.

No time for cardio...will have plenty of time tonight before yoga.

Diet has been stellar for the past 3 days...got to keep it up. Taking it one day at a time.

So far:
oatmeal w/ 1/2 serving protein powder, 1/4 banana, and 1 t. of brown sugar Splenda. Trying to get used to the taste of sucralose and the brown sugar blend makes it more doable. And my grande brewed Starbucks, black of course.
