Yesterday and today...

My 4 a.m. alarm failed me Monday morning, so I planned to do my workout after work, followed by yoga with my daughter. When I called my daughter in the afternoon she said she'd go to yoga with me if I'd buy her a yoga mat. Sucker that I am, instead of going straight to the gym I went straight to Target and bought her mat. By the time I got to the gym, there was no time left to workout. So, I ended up doing yoga only. But there's nothing like a good yoga class...and that class was nothing like a good yoga class. No sun salutations, no savasana...NO savasana!!! How is that yoga??? Nevertheless, I will return because my daughter enjoyed it and I am set on keeping her interested in fitness.

I was going to start my New Rules workout M W F. Since I missed Monday, I will officially start Wednesday, so no workout today but will go tonight to do some cardio.

My diet has been great. I'm back to eating every 3 hours and planning out everything I'm going to eat for the day. I'm finding if I actually record it in Fitday before I eat it, I'm less likely to allow myself to cheat. The scale still doesn't change except the 1/2 to 1-1/2 lb. fluctuations from day to day. I probably need to drop to 1400 calories from 1600 but I'm not mentally prepared for that right now. If I cut back on avocados, I can sneak some calories out. But they are so healthy and make everything taste great. Maybe cut back, but not give them up. And my daily 85% dark chocolate.
