ok i have the lovehandles problem too. plus a little bit of bulge in the tummy which i think is kind of normal but idk. either way, i want to take care of myself but i dont want to go on a diet because im underweight and still devoloping. I dont want to lose what i want to grow like height and stuff but i do want to get rid of these lovehandles. any suggestions? thanks so much!

My challenge in my now 28# weight loss this year, the love handles have definitely shrunk but I have a bit of extra loose skin where the love handle were. I am hoping that as time goes by, the skin will tighten up.
Be aware that thinness and being underweight does not necessarily mean that you are sporting some additional body fat (my problem even wehn I have been "thin"). My best advice is keep toning the mid section and increase your exercise/activity. Eat healthy portions and avoid junk food. It my take time and effort but it will come. |

Can you say "back fat"? I guess love handles is the more frequently used term, that is my only real trouble area, I can't find any one specific set of exercises that deals primarily with it. Any ideas?:angry:

I started out at 183.5 toward the end of febuary and as of right now i am at 158.0 ibs so i have lost 25.5 pounds already but i need some advice on how to tone up and loose inches because although i have lost 25 pounds its seems hard to go down in sizes my main area of problems would be my stomach of course and my hips and but now i have been doing squats with wieghts and it is helping some is their any thing else do jump start my wieght loss agian please could someone email mail me with some sugg... thanks

Read my post about cardio. Cardio is and will only work as extension of your diet. If you do not produce a caloric deficit, all the cardio in the world will result in bettter cardiovascular health, but no fat/weight loss.

Help..I am trying very hard to lose weight..exersize 5 days a week for al lest an hour and have eliminated fried food and bad sugars..drink lots of water and I still can't seem to get the weight off..what am I doing wrong?

hey I'm 15 and i just singed up today I'm trying to loose weight. well mostly tone up. I am 5'11 and i weigh 145. i am not where i want to be though. i am hoping to be in the 130's if at all possible before the summer...any ideas??:big_smile:

Hello, very new, brand new! I tried several diets, like eating one meal a day or the salad diet. I am 157 lbs. and would love to drop 30 lbs. My stomach and butt are my main targets, plus I have high blood/chlo. Any advice is GREATLY welcome.Thanks |

It's still fairly simple though, if you take in more energy from your food than you burn during the day, you will put on weight. If you burn more energy than you take on through food, you will lose energy. The key really is to do this in a sensible way by increasing your energy output (through exercise) rather than just cutting your energy input (through eating less food). |

i want to know the longest diet and excercise plan cuz it is usually most effective in all areas.... Also, love handles can go away by laying on yourside and lifting your leg as far as you can go 100 times each side. It works your obliques too!

I do weight training every day. Dont have flabby arms, but I miss definition in my upper arms. How do I train my biceps, triceps and shoulders to show definition in my muscles??

Swimming for speed will seriously help you lose the love handles. Basically, any type of cardio workout will be beneficial for you. If you want more info, check out the websites below :):dumbbell:- they have a ton of information on exercises that you can do without any weights or equipment. It's basically a list of different workouts that you can do whenever and wherever you want to.
