I see on this site that 1 egg white only has 3.5 grams of protein... I see that it's mostly protein, but still... only 3.5 grams?
Why are people so into egg whites, I'm not really getting this :)

They contain the best quality proteins. If you have the patience, to separate them or buy the eggwhites, its the best!.

yes carivan is right! they have only but the best quality proteins! not as much as a whole egg, but a whole egg can higher cholestorol and has more fat than an egg white! i cant get enough of em!

cool, I've been seperating them lately, and its not too bad... I'm making milkshakes with 4 eggwhites in them, it's not too bad :)
Where can you buy seperated egg white?

Actually, eggs are usually not the ones to blame, high saturated fat intake highers cholesterol, not high cholesterol items. If you look at the fat content of an egg, it usually contains only 1.5g of saturated fat out of the 4.5g. Not to bad at all. While they should still be consumed in moderation(depending on diet), whole eggs are very good for you and have gotten a bad rap.
