I just started loading GNC creatine 2 days ago. Since then I have had massive diarhea. Does anyone have input on this. Is this normal?

have heard that can be a problem, I think because it pulls water into your gut. try drinking lots of extra water, and you may want to replace your electrolytes with gatorade or pedialyte...

Some people have reported that as a side effect, though it doesn't always hit everyone. One reason may be the impurities that are found in many types of creatine rather than the actual creatine itself. But your description of "massive" concerns me. If it doesn't level off in a few days, I suggest discontinuing it - no sense dehydrating yourself just trying to improve your performance!

May I suggest trying a different creatine? Micronized creatine may be more "freindly" to your stomach. AST makes a good creatine of this type, micronized. If there is granuals in the bottom of your mixing cup for what you are using, think about what it may be doing in your stomach. I am not a big fan of GNC...think about the change if it keeps up. You could also be one of the "intolerant" ones that creatine doesn't work on. Very few, but as rev says, massive is not a good word when it comes to dirahea. Dehydration is a very real problem. Make sure you consume plenty of water.

I wouldn't even give it another day. Stop it and drink water.
Give your body a rest and get a pure product as stated.

I worked at GNC and trust me when I say there creatine is not top of the line. Like bb1fit stated, go with AST's micronized creatine, probably one of the highest quality creatines on the market.
