Hi to all ft members!! First of all, I'd like to say it's great to be here..!! I'm very new in this field and I've really enjoyed reading the message boards! Anyway, I'm 5'5 and weighing 116 lbs & very pear shaped (yikes) but has very flat butt & cellulite on my thighs(yikes)!!!! So I'm desperately needing your advises so I could wear my new bikini this summer :). I also heard that spot training doesn't really work, is that true??

yes, you cannot spot reduce fat but you can target specific muscle groups! you can work your glutes (bum i think!) using weights and also do cardio at the same time so when you lose the fat, your bum will be in shape. Your body loses fat wherever it is stored and the best way to go about it, is to combine cardio and strangth training with a good high protein low fat and carbs diet!
