Yes it should be perfectly safe for you to take creatine. But there is really no need for you to take it. What you need to watch is the workout you perform. At age 13 you really shouldn't be doing to many "power" lifts such as snatch or clean and jerk. What you should really work on is form and focus on stretching and conditioning. You probably shouldn't lift "heavy" until you are around 15-16.

There are no problems for younger kids to lift AS LONG AS THEY ARE SUPERVISED. If he can lift heavy, then let him, as long as it's supervised. Despite popular beleif, weight training will NOT stunt his growth. Creatine will not do anything either, why? BECAUE IT'S IN HIS BODY ALREADY! People need to get this with creatine. No matter what, EVERYONE consumes creatine in some amounts everyday. Only the careless run into problems due to not drinking enough water or they have prior problems. And slimdavie, ATP isn't dangerous. What do you think gives you the energy to lift at all? That's right, ATP does. I don't know where you got your info from, but don't listen to them without doing research of your own. Good luck
