Hi, my name is Chris. I strained/pulled my Lateral Collateral Ligament in my right knee about 1.5-2 months ago. My knee still isn't back to full strength, and I would like some advice on how i can build it back up and strengthin it. I haven't done really any weights with legs cause I don't want to re-injure the knee. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!!

Try starting in the water and working on extension and flexion at the knee joint. Did you have rehab for it after you injured it?
Depending on your age and fitness level you will heal fatser or slower - keep that in mind, if it doesn't heal completely before you hit the wieghts it may bother you alot longer, but if you don't start moving it, it could freeze up on you and you could lose range of motion. I think if you have access to a pool, you could try exercising in the pool at first, to get it moving. Then gradually work into light weights on the leg extension and curl, calf raises, stay light and log your workouts, adding one exercise each workout - this way you will know exactly what irritates it if something does. i do this with cients who have injuries, it takes awhile, but is so worth it in the long run to know what is causing discomfort. ice your knee after your workouts, even if it doesn't feel sore, and be sure you are stretching, gently.
