Hi
Eat a lot of protein! Most of your energy should come from protein. Try eating less fat and not too many carbohydrates! What is your workout routine? Try eating 1g for every half a pound you weigh at minimum! Protein is found in:

egg whites
Chicken breasts
Tuna
Cottage cheese

If you are finding it difficult to get a lot of protein, try some protein shakes.

Hope this helps!

I would suggest never going below 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Also, don't cut your good fats and carbs back too much - by over restricting your carb intake, the protein you take in will be partially used for energy, robbing your muscles of the needed building blocks for growth.

As far as your regimen goes: try to base it on heavy, compound lifts.

Hey redwing, I commented on your posts about supplements, and for your goal I would still recommend creatine, glutamine, a good multi-vitamin, and a good whey protein powder. By the way, you wouldn't happen to be a Red Wings fan would you? WHAT HAPPENED!?!?! I am from the Detroit area, and man I can tell ya, this sucks.
