What's the difference between Volume training and HIT training? What does HIT stand for?

A high volume program typically calls for a high number of sets per bodypart with slight variations. HIT stands for High Intensity Training, which usually means performing one all out heavy set to failure. Of course, there are a lot of variations to both of these programs and I would suggest you do some research on this if you want to find out more.
