Hi All
Going to be starting my new ft professional routine.
Need some advice on the best way to go through the routine.
example starting with abs is it best to complete all ab sets before moving on to doing chest.
Or is is better to run the full routine as a circute, abs, chest shoulders and so on. Just trying to feed some ideas from others. thanks.

Since you are just beginning, try to complete all sets within an exercise before moving on to the next. Concentrate on contracting the appropriate muscle when doing an exercise. Use lighter weights and perfect your form before going heavy...you'll thank me later!
Good luck...

In your profile in your health and fitness goals, you state you want to amaintain your endurance and strength. I suggest that if that is your goal, then a circuit type training would be best suited for you. This is both an anerobic and arobic workout, you will keep up your endurance, plus gain a bit of muscle and strength from the resistance. It is done in this manner...Do one set for example chest presses for 10, move right to the next station, do shoulder presses for 10, move right to the next station and do lat pulls(back) for 10, until you have completed one circuit i.e...whole body. Rest for about 3 minutes, and do it again, and do this 3 times. Your first week you may only want to do one circuit, the next week try for 2, and then about 4 weeeks do 3. You may add cardio any time you like. Hope this makes sense to you. I thnk it will help you reach your stated goals. Make sure as Robert says to concentrate on the movement, do not worry about heavy weight at this point. Get your form down, you will see results.
-------------- The one goal you will NEVER achieve is the one you never attempt.
