Anyone pig out for Easter? I sure did and I feel like crap. and of course the gym isn't open today. I just thought maybe hearing others doing the same might make me feel better..haha

i actually ate very healthy today! im surprised i did, im on a very strict diet so i gotta stay determined and strong! you just have to get on with your regular diet and pick up where you left off! dont go starving yourself tommorow your body still needs all the good stuff and needs to be nourished!

I have no problem with eating right when I'm at home, because I only buy myself good stuff. But when I'm at my grandparent's or folk's house... all bets are off. It's hard to resist when there so much good (unhealthy) food just laying around! I try to fight the good fight though.

Barbecued a half of lamb, broccoli, 2 protien shakes and a can of tuna!! Oh ya and a Hienekin!

I gave up chocolate for Lent so Easter was my day to just eat chocolate. Hopefully I will get it out of my system soon but I was really bad!

Not sure if I did bad or good. For the first time in my life I passed up Easter dinner at granny's. I knew it'd be fried foods, biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, desserts, etc etc. :)
Instead I had a steak with onions, red & green bell peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. I did have a few mashed potatoes though. wow you really can't get jelly beans in france...
that's good news and bad news wrapped up in one. as for me and Easter... my sister in law makes these delicious little deviled eggs with tuna in them. they wouldn't be all that bad if they didn't have all the yummy yolks and mayo in them i just think that as long as they're delicious (not just good or tasty, but down right close to heavenly) and in moderation, they're worth the calories and yes fat too in my book. i'm not suggesting this to anyone else b/c you will be held accountable for everything you do or do not eat. the questions is: is the food you're eating WORTH the price you will pay in the long run? and you will pay- (or reap the benefits) |
