Hey all:
Anyway i was wondering with my program... well the reps for like the chest excersises start at 12... then like 8 ..5...4.. now for those. Should i be increasing the weight as the number of reps decreases? because i know i can sustain the same reps on my 4th attempt as i can on my first(almost). Thanks for any reply and sorry if i'm not making much sense since i'm very tired and it's very late.
peace

If my program tells me to do 12 reps, then 8, 5 and 4 then I usually start off with a lightish weight for the 12 reps then increase the weight for the 5 reps and again for the 4, I then go back to the original weight for 8 reps. I normally use the 12 reps as a warm-up and the 8 for a cool down to avoid injury.
