my question is can you exercise to lose weight without dieting. i go to the gym and workout with your program 4 days a week.(most of the time)i try to fit in at least 30 mins of cardio each day. will i lose weight that way or is it a must to diet? i have 3 children, and a very hectic life style, just getting to the gym is a chore, but i manage to do it. but deiting is way to hard for me. i try but i usually fail on the second day. i also work everyother night, which makes it impossible to stay on the diet. please help. nina

well I would not call it a diet in the classic sense. But in order to build muscle which is what will replace the fat if you workout. you need to eat. Plain and simple try to get 5-6 small meals with lots of protein and good carbs in per day. ALso drink a lot of water. This is not a diet where you starve yourself, instead find out what you need to maintain the weight you have, lift hard and see what happens. Others here are much better at helping ou out with a actual plan but I just wanted to say that to diet is to fail....having the proper diet is key to success.

No matter which way you look at it, one of the best ways to lose fat is diet, diet, diet. add extensive weight training along with cardio and you are good to go. it always goes back to the basic for anything, Diet & Nutrition. Good luck!
