I've never really been concious of my carb in take in till I really started working out in the gym an becoming more aware of what I eat. Now I am wondering what my carb in take should be in order to help me lose some weight. Right now I am 5 foot 7, 135lbs. I workout usually 5-6 days a week (I do kickboxing 3x week, and usually natilus/weights 2-3x week). What foods are recommended that are low carbs?

When you want to lose weight, it's all calories. 3500 calories make a pound of fat. If you burn 3500 more calories than you eat, you will lose a pound. It doesn't matter if they're carbs, fat, or protein.

You should try and stick to good carbs (complex) from dark green veggies, brown rice, sweet potatoes, grain bread, oatmeal, fruits.
avoid all refined carbs as they are quickly absorbed and of no value for your healthy active lifestyle.
Hope this helps.
