I know that I should limit the amount of fruit I eat because of sugars. But are there sertain fruits that are better to eat then others? And how much fruit is it OK to eat a day?

I believe fruits such as peaches, strawberries, blueberries & apples are better than other fruits. I don't know what your goal is or where you are currently in progress, but I only eat one serving of the fruits I listed per day when I don't work out. On days I do work out, I might also have a banana after the workout. The rest of my carbs come from things like old fashoined oats, kidney beans, green vegetables, brown rice, and wild rice.

Fruits are a great healthy food, and normally a big part of a healthy diet. But, if fat loss is your goal, then fructose is something you never need in your diet. The rules have to change a bit there. Certain foods you eat elicit a thermogenic effect, thus causing your body to burn more fat than one would expect from a caloric deficit alone.
a) Fruit with an excellent Thermogenic/Carbohydrate Ratio include: Apples, Blueberries, Grapefruit, Peaches, Strawberries vs. Inferior Thermogenic Effect Fruits: Bananas, Dried Fruit, Raisins, etc., Watermelon
Hope this helps with your answer you are looking for. there are vegetables that fall into this category too, but fruits are touchy due to the "sugar".
