My training partner is down to 9% body fat but still has a mild case of gynecomastia. He spoke to a doctor who recommended surgery to fix it but does anyone know of non surgical procedures to rememdy it?

I dont think there is a way , Gyno , generally ( I think ) is glandular tissue not BF...so the only way is to have surgery to remove that tissue. =(

If it's psuedogynocomastia then it is more fat than glandular, if not, it's as noirutla said. There are medications that can cause it too. Some that stop taking the meds lose the swelling. If a doc recommended surgery, chances are that it's more glandular. If it's more fat, however, there is one promising thing out there, from what I've read, called Yohimburn.

I don't know if it works; I was researching it because my "bitchtits" were one of the last things to shrink in my 40 lb. weight loss...it's spooky. Roughly 30% of all males have gynecomastia or pseudogynecomastia.
