I'm wondering if someone might be able to answer a few questions for me. In highschool, some 15 years ago, I hyperextended my elbow while playing football. The initial x-rays were mixed up and a bone chip was missed. I continued playing while going through rehab and was able to have my arm in good enough condition to compete in powerlifting and golf in the spring. The bone chip was discovered 2 years later after another football injury but was not causing me any problems. This brings us to now. I haven't lifted weights since 1991 and I seem to be having some problems with this elbow. After working out, this arm is extremely difficult to straighten. Could this be because of the hyperextension suffered long ago? Has anyone had similar injuries or know of some ways I can keep this stretched out?
