Hi all.
I'm 24 years old, 225 lbs, slow metabloism, and looking to drop to 175 lb. I eat 5 small meals a day with cardio and weight training.
daily menu
meal 1- 2 egg whites and a tortilla
meal 2- 1 slice of ham and 1/2 yogurt cup
meal 3- 1 can of tuna, 1 cup of pasta, and Italian salad dressing
meal 4 -same and meal 2
meal 5-skinless/boneless chicken breast, rice, and veggie
I tried to do 3 days of weight training(alternating upper and lower body) and 3 days of cardio. so i would lift, cardio, lift, etc. on the 7th day do nothing but rest.
I also take a mutli-vitaiman and 1000 mg of vitaiman C daily.
If any one has any suesstions on losing the extra weight I'd love to hear. I have just signed up and am going to try the ab workout to see if that will help.

Describe your cardio. (How long, what kind, etc.)

Have you heard of hte body for life program by Bill Philips?
the program you laid out looks a lot like that. I have tried that in the past and did lose a little weight. I will try to increase my cardio starting today. Currently I work out in the morning. Is there anything wrong with working out right before going to bed?
IN regards to eating more protien and veggie's. Would it hurt any thing if I ate just that? I know that eating to many carbs can be bad, so if all of my carbs came from just veggies and the little in the meats would that hurt my body in any way?
