I've got a problem here. I've been feeling totally wiped out after my work out sessions. I do 45 mins of aerobics, 10 mins of floor work and 30 mins of weights. Am I over doing it? I realize the sore thing is to be expected but come on....I'm suffering here.

I'm currently on the Atkin's diet and I'm only working out 3 days a week.

well maybe your carb intake does have something to do with it. how any are u allowed to have. my friend was on the same thing and he was allowed only 20g of carbs a day, he did a it was kind of hard to keep up in the work out.

I used to have the same problem; would almost fall asleep on the way home...now, I either have a protein shake made with skim milk for carbs, or a protein bar that's also loaded with carbs, about 1 hour before my workout. No more problems. Then of course, within 2 hours of your workout *after* get 40g of protein or so into that belly.

Try seperating your aerobics from your weight training. It might help out. I feel sick if I push myself with cardio and then try and do weights after.

Your body needs carbs for fuel. You are eating protein and fats on Atkins, but they are far poorer forms of energy for your body than carbs. For 45 minutes of aerobics, your body is lacking that premium source of fuel. You're like a car coasting on fumes...
