Hey, I got a question for any pro lifter out there. Ok, i was told by a friend that the best way to get more mass is to workout everyday except on weekends. The workout sessions would go as followed. day 1 legs, arms, abs and back. day 2 chest, shoulder, abs, and triceps. And repeat that for the rest of the week. I'm not sure if thats the best way to see mass results, can anyone give me advice on what is.

Delaybass, that is way to many major muscle groups in one exercise session. Unless you plan on spending a few hours in the gym , I would highly recommend splitting up your routine more AND NOT take advice from your friend anymore. If you followed this routine, you would be 1) Injured in a short period of time, 2) Run out of steam and not want to workout anymore and your gains WILL suffer. Gaining mass and quality muscle takes place OUTSIDE of the gym. When you lift weights, you are simply providing a stimulus for muscle growth which has to be followed up by proper nutrition. Good luck.
