As of today, I officially hit my mid-thirties (34), and I am not, in the SLIGHTEST way, a very happy camper!

UGH! *mumble grumble*

Awwwww, that's too bad. I probably felt that way too, but now I am 45 and never felt better. I'm in better physical shape than I've ever been. I'm in a great marriage and having great sex. I only have one teenager left at home. Every year just gets better. Oh sure, there are some things that happen as we get older that we just can't help, but I've found I'm a lot happier if I just accept those things instead of fretting over them. So, rev8ball, Happy Birthday! Grumble about it for a few minutes, accept it and move forward....always forward. Trust me, the best years are ahead of you!

HAPPY B-DAY;
Good news; I had just read an article that 45 is now the number for middle aged.

Well, from a fellow mod, happy birthday. Just think of it as being more mature...kind of takes the edge off.

Happy Birthday! A guy I know said one of the wisest and simplest things I've ever heard about a year ago, and I'll never forget it: "You don't know nothin' til you're 40."

34 isn't that bad. You still have about 10 more years before you can pull off that sexy "Distinguished" look. See what you have to look forward too? Happy Birthday!

Oh, 34 isn't old. Just remember when you were a kid, 30 was old. As you get closer, old gets farther. And besides, it is the way you feel not the number. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Michael.

My Mom actually had to remind me on Mother's Day that I'm almost 30....she was going on about kids, marriage or something I didn't quite catch <smile> 'cause I sort of tuned her out.

Thanks to everyone, I really appreciate it.
Ended up having a fantastic weekend, with a b-day party on Saturday night at my favorite bar and grill. Some of my gifts: a No Fear t-shirt that says "Does not play well with others!" (from my niece, no less...LOL); front row, 25 yard line tickets to the Gladiators, our pro Arena Football League team (I love the AFL); and the newest version of Arnold's Encyclopedia.... some goooooood stuff!

Of course, I know Ron will bust my chops for using my b-day as another excuse to go crazy on my diet (LOL)! So, a sushi buffet, pizza, chicken wings, and 3 b-day cakes later.....

Thanks again, guys!
