the use of creatine should be in cycles every two months. after the two month perio u would cycle off for one then get back on it again. thats what ive been taught. ive heared of people never going off creatine and are fine but i dont really know!! hope this helps u in some way!!

yeah, that's what I heard too, but I also heard other stories, I'm just not sure what is the right thing to do. I guess I would go for the 2 month cycle, just to make sure. Should I do another loading fase after I have been off of creatine for that month?

Not longer than two months. My doctor of course recommends not taking supplements but said if I do, not for longer than 6-8 weeks. Your body will get used to it if any longer than that. It is just to stimulate your body or "jump start" your body.

Oh, also, creatine will add fat to your body, so while you cycle off, make sure you concentrate on burning up the fat you have put on.

roni, who in the world told you that creatine puts on fat?!?!?! That is a VERY, VERY misguided beleif, wow I don't think I have heard that one yet. Creatine DOES NOT put on fat or make you fat, eating to much food will make you fat and being lazy will make you fat.

I am with you dahayz, calories in as compared to calories out is what makes you fat! More in than burnt adds up to weight gain. Creatine in no way makes you fat. Where some of this information comes from is beyond me.
-------------- As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it.

Maybe roni mistook water retention with gaing fat? Creatine does make you retain water, which can make you look fat. Maybe that's what he was thinking? Other then this possible opinion I have no idea what he's talking about.
