I do cardio in the morning before work, but I lift after work. Should I drink a post WO drink after cardio too , as well as after lifting? If my thinking is correct , I think I should.
I just started cardio in mornings...

Post cardio I usually take in a serving of whet protein with some high glycemic liquid carb, then follow that up with a nice low glycemic whole food meal. A very effective strategy in preventing any muscle breakdown, while revving up your metabolism.

That was what I was wondering. I just wanted to make sure I should treat my cardio sessions the same as I do my lifting sessions in the evening. ( by utilizing a post WO something) so I burn the least amount of muscle.

Especially so if you are doing any form of HIIT cardio. It is both aerobic and anerobic, so cortisol production must be staved off.

I was wondering the same thing. If I am doing my cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, is it good, or bad to have a protein shake (soy milk base w/ fresh fruit) after? This would then be my first meal of the day. I go to the gym in the late afternoon, so have dinner shortly after which covers my protein for post workout, I think.
