Hello. I don't have an injury per se, however, I have Multiple Sclerosis and I have the WORST coordination. I would like to loose some fat and tone my thighs and excercises, for example lunges, require me to hold on to something, or I'm going to fall sideways, lol. I also have a problem with crunches, pulling up and sit ups. Would this be cheating or would I get any benefit from holding onto someting during certain excercises.

what about an ab roller? I don't know if they take away from the work out, but it would still be better than nothing i would say. as for the other exercises, i don't know. i sometimes have to hold on to something during lunges too haha...

What ever you can do, do it ever which way is safe for you.
You might want to try the chair for your abs if they have one at your gym.

Hey I don't even have an excuse
but :o) I'm so clumsy that I keep a chair next to me even when I'm sitting down...lol...Glad to see I'm not the only one that's afflicted with this disorder.
Lunges are a funny one to watch me do...Kev always gets a big kick out of it :o)
