I am 20, 6.05, 172 lbs. and an ectomorph. My first goal is to increase my weight by first increasing my body fat (most people don't want to but in my case, because of my sport, some fat is good for shock abosorbtion) and then to gain lean muscle mass. My second goal is to plain and simply increase my strength and conditioning levels for hockey. What would be a good routine (what excercises, how many reps/sets, amount of rest between each rep/set, pyramid system or not, etc.?) to set me to achieve both goals? I know both goals coincide with eachother, but for each specific goal, slightly different steps are required. I would like to work out about 4 days a week, and not anymore than that. I already have the proper nutritional and supplement needed. Thank you for your help, thanks!

Ok... I am 24, Play DII for LaSalle Univ. DO NOT Gain Weight By putting on FAT. Trust me. You will Lose Quickness and Agility. You will just be one of those Big Beast(s) on the Ice who cant do anything but run people over. What you want to do is, bulk with muscle mass, not fat. Research a High Protien, Low Fat/Carb diet. and also a good strength and conditioning Program. Dont get discourage if you lose a few lbs at first once your body adjusts you start putting on the mass, However this will take time. Good luck
