I am confused on p/c/f rations.
FT's nutrition guide tells me that I need to consume 204 grams of protiens,571g carbs, 73 grams of fats and 3654 calories. Now the question is the ratio. Does the 3654 calories come from calorie sources that make up the p/c/f ratio, or does the ratio mean something in relation to the grams of or protiens/carbs/fats? If it is a calorie source ratio, how do you determine calories from protien, carbs, and fats independently? This question is bugging me because I do not know exactly how to adjust as I start changing. Thanks for the help. I have searched the other posts but didn't find an answer.

Usually youl wnt to keep your protein consistant unless you have a big change in lean mass composition, so the trick is to modify the amounts of protien & carbs to suit your needs. For example , if your schedule is hectic &/or you training is geared for endurance you may want to shift the profile to favor carbs, likewise if you are trying to gain mass sometimes a little extra dietary fat can be of help. Just remember that 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories & 1 gram of carbs or protien contain 4 calories so basically it is a 2 for 1 exchange. Hope this helps.
