i take both whey protein and creatin. but i was thinking of droping the protein and just take creatin.if i do that will i continue to grow in my arms and chest.when i was taking both the creatin and protein i gained a half inch on my arms in a week and a inch and half in my chest. so if i stop taking the protein and just take the creatin will i get the same results or no?

Keep in mind that protein is crucial for tissue repair & growth. Trying to build muscle without protein is like trying to build a house without wood. Personally due to the cost of whey I try to consume my protien through whole foods & only use whey in my post workout shake, this works well as long as you still meet your daily protein requirement of 1 gm per lb of bodyweight.

Your body absolutely needs protein. Creatine helps, but its not a necessary 'nutrient'. Stick with the protein.

If you can meet your protein needs through "whole food", then feel free to drop protein and just do creatine. On the other hand, if you cannot get enough protein through foods to meet your needs, your gains will suffer and creatine will not help. Creatine will do nothing to build muscle by itself.
