I was just curious that you guys have found to be the normal amount of water weight gain you see from using creatine.

I personally noticed about 3-4 lbs. Granted I know I was not as hydrated as I should have been before I started exercising regularly, so part of the increase in water weight was just to bring my body up to propper hydration.

"...so part of the increase in water weight was just to bring my body up to propper hydration."
That's actually a misnomer. The more water we drink, the less that our bodies are require to hold on to in order to stave off dehydration. We tend to retain more water when we don't drink enough.

3-4 lbs is not bad. Also remember, that water retention that MAY occur with creatine use is not subcutaneous, but intra-muscular, which is why those who have that occur tend to look more "full" rather than "swollen."

Hope that helps...
