hey i was wondering after i workout should i stay away from carbs, cause i feel like crap when i dont have pasta or any of that stuff after i workouti just have vegtables and protein such as chicken and im so tired after i eat and i dont feel satisfied at all...i wanna make lean muscle mass gains...but i also wanna keep my stomach tight...
You want to get in protein as quickly as possible following a grueling weight session. A "liquid" meal is best here for quicker absorbtion, protein and a simple type carb. About a half hour to 45 min. following that, have your well balanced whole food meal.
