Hello everyone! I am so happy that I found this site, I have my program in hand and am prepared to take on the world! ;-)
I used to do serious weight training about four years ago, the problem was that we would work too hard, at least two hours a day doing pretty much the same thing everyday. After nearly a year I could see minor results, but not what I felt to be sufficinetly rewarding for the hard work put in. Also spending that amount of time at gym everyday was also getting less and less practical. I eventualy got despondant and gym fell by the wayside.
Well.. I am now ready to face up to the challenge again, this time with the help of this site working a little smarter- and hopefully more effectively.
I am about 1.95m tall and weigh approx 115kg's. I don't really want to loose weight - in fact I wouldn't mind about another 10kg's. Obviously what I do want though is to replace the fat with muscle. Being a rugby player my objectives are more aimed at physical strength and possibly general firming up, rather than toning or being able to pose for men's health.
Wingman, I have trained for a lot of years. The problem is that I too have done it incorrectly. Scour the message groups here and you will learn an awful lot. In addition to learning correct technique and diet I have vound out that the varied routines here make training less boring. Moderators and experienced members have taught me more on proper diet in a few weeks than I had cobbled together in a lot of years. Good luck .
Charlie
