I know that roughly you get,
4 kcal per gram of carb or pro
7 kcal per gram of alcohol
9 kcal per gram of fat
But putting in my nutritional data and the sum of the calories consumed is not equal to the sum of the calories calculated using these values and the weight intake of each type. In fact there is about a 15% discrepancy between the two, which is fairly substantial. I am guessing that these values are the big problem as they are only calculated to one significant figure so dose anyone know more accurate values?
