My current meals are as follow:
Breakfast (7am): Whey protein shake with 1 banana
Lunch (12.30pm): Rice with 1 chicken breast or chicken breast with vege
Pre-workout (5pm): 2 bananas
Post-workout (9pm): Whey protein shake with juice
What should I eat around 9-10am... and should I take another meal at around 3pm? According to FT I am more than 1000 calories lesser than my recommended caloric intake, and my carb and protein intakes are too low.
Any good recommendation for food does not make the whole office smell? :)

Is this all you eat? You have some long stretches with no food and your overall calorie intake looks really low. If you need somthing easy to take to work, cook a lot of chicken at once w/ different seasonings and make wraps w/ whole grain tortillas, chicken and salad greens, or I like those single serving cottage cheeses with a handful of high protein cereal (I like Kashi Crunch which is like a high protein, low fat granola type cereal), lately I've been making the stuffed chicken from the Come get 'em Popeye thread; then the veggies are inside the chicken and you have a good one dish meal, just heat in the microwave for a sec.

Thanks for the reply. I usually have small snacks around 9am and 3pm... but the office does not have a microwave oven nor a fridge - so it's hard for me to bring in food which requires either one of them. I am now thinking of just bringing in sandwiches, though it can get boring after awhile.

No microwave, no fridge... that does make it tough. :(
A fridge may not be necessary if you bring a lunch bag w/ a cooler pack. Also if you fill a water bottle half full and freeze it overnight it will serve a dual purpose as drink and a cold pack, just a thought. The chicken's actually pretty good cold, I eat it straight out of the fridge. Salad would travel okay in a cooler pack and so would cottage cheese.
Good luck to you; I'm sure you'll get some ideas here. :)

i use a cooler pack for my lunch due to no fridge and microwave. I try to eat cottage cheese or jerky for my protein for a snack. cooler packs are a great thing and are very cheap!
I acutually have two so in case I forget to throw one in the freezer from the previous day I have a second.

I saw the reusable cold packs at the dollar store last week - I'm going to get a few more. We use our at the pool and one cooler pack doesn't always do it. In fact, I think I saw the soft cooler cases, too.

If you have a cooler pack, you should be able to take most anything. For my 10am meal I have a 6oz can of (tuna mixed at home with a little onion and FatFree mayo)and a small apple. There are lots of pre-mixed protein drinks you could have for your afternoon snack or you could mix your own ahead of time. Even though you have a shake after your workout, you should eat a high protein meal an hour after that, too.
