I'm sorry, I answered your great sex post (nice trick). i gave you a bunch of exercises you probably already do.
Keep training you legs and abs with machine, as much as you can without stressing your shoulders.
The body has a great thing called transference (I think), where all your muscle fibers benefit from working any muscle group. There was astudy where people trained their non-broken arm and their broken arm still benefitted - not as much, but at least it benefitted.
Muscles have memory - so recovery shouldn't be a s daunting as you think, just make sure your form is excellent and you don't push too hard, too fast.
And last but not least - don't listen when the doc tells you your limitations - expect better recovery than he predicts. if I had believed the doctor who told me O would never regain use of my left hand I would be nowhere, instead i was determinesd to prove him wrong and rehabbed as much as I could and forced that hand to work.
