Hi! I am a 20 year old female who has just started taking hydroxycut. I am wondering what kind of a diet should accompany this supplement. I was told to aim for a high protein diet, but how high are we talking here? Should I try shakes? Bars? Soy? How many servings a day? Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated!

I would think the supplement should accompany the diet, rather than the other way around. Sound diet is first and foremost. Hydroxycut will do nothing by itself, despite what the advertisements say. Get your diet in order first, then just add the HC for an energy boost before going to the gym. It may help raise your metabolism for a bit, but without proper diet and exercise, it will do nothing. Your protein intake should be around 1 gr. per lb. of bodyweight. Balance that off with good fibrous complex carbs like brown rice, beans, green veggies, sweet potatos, etc. and some healthy fats and you are on your way. Ditch any processed foods, sugary foods, even sugar filled sports drinks.
