I went to the gym tonight and I wanteds to break a personal best. I got to the bench, threw 2 cadillacs and a 10 pounder on each side(245lbs total) and layed down. I took 5 deep breaths and focused my mind on getting through this lift. I took the weight off, slowly let it down, and pushed up. I was in awe when I felt I had the energy to execute another, so I did. Then another, and one more. I got 4 reps in with 245. I was very happy with myself. Then I did 4 sets of incline with 145-195lbs. Then my flys. I felt great leaving the gym. It's the first time since I began training a year ago that I actually couldn't wait until thursday again, so I could hit my chest again. Just wanted to share with everyone. Initially you go to workout to see physical changes, and this goal still remains as time goes on, but you acquire a different state of mental dedication as you continue. I have finally witnessed this for myself, longing to feal what I have heard others rant and converse about. Its great.

Congratulations....It takes a strong mind and a strong body to accomplish those goals...way to go. Good luck with your future training.
