I am new hoping to shed these horrible pounds. I tried the Atkins things but after 6 months my digestive system couln't take it anymore. When I started I weighed 300 lbs and now I am down to 265. I am Just hoping this site can help reach my goals. Just a bit confused why I get so many calories.
You have a lot of calories, because you would lose too much weight too fast, and it would not be healthy otherwise. The healthiest weight loss is a gradual one, not all at once. It also helps to keep weight off once you lose it. However, when (not if) you do lose your desired weight, do not revert back to your old habits, that's the problem that I have, you will gain it right back. Good luck to you.
