Hello, I having been working out for about a year and I have managed to lose 40lbs. Now I want to gain mass and size. The nutrition program says I need to eat 4000 calories a day. When I input what I would eat on an average day I only come in at around 2200 calories!! What foods are the best for getting maximum muscle building calories? If anyone could post what they usually eat, I would really appreciate it.

P.S. I am 6'1" and 198lbs. Relatively fast metabolism

We're relatively the same in terms of size since i'm also 6'1 and weigh just over 200lbs. I would suggest getting meal replacement protein shakes (not just regular protein shakes as they don't have alot of carbs and calories as MRPs do).

I have a problem of always being full myself, so i never can reach my 3400 calories.

Try eating 6-8 smaller meals throughout the day every 2-3 hours. That should increase you total calorie intake.
In terms of food, i eat egg whites, chicken, tuna for protein and eat veggies and brown rice(good source of carbs and has like 200 calories per cup).
