I am curious to know what people eat for breakfast and how they get their protein in. I am normally on the run in the morning hour...I have been doing a meal replacement shake..but looking to do something else.
Any feedback would be great!!

In the morning is a good time to get your protein fairly "quickly". You are very insulin sensitive then, plus most probably in a catabolic state from the overnight fasting. A good fast acting liquid whey is a good choice for some quick protein and to get you out of the catabolic state. Having a complex carb with it for some sustained energy is a good choice also. Like oatmeal, and even some cottage cheese which is slow digesting protein(gels in the stomach) for slower release of amino acids. Eggwhites is also a good choice.

I eats eggs and lots of them, skim milk and oatmeal

As for eggwhites...can you eat hardboiled eggs...minus the yolk?
I was doing a myoplex light shake in the morning..but was told on this site I should be doing something more substantial.

A Myoplex shake can be good, but if you can opt for some "whole food", it would of course be better. The protein in the Myoplex is fast acting, so therefore that part of it can be good, but I would not rely on it alone. A better choice may be some simple whey protein for the quick acting source, and it will be beneficial(healthy) also to have any of the food choices mentioned in the postings above. They are solid and nourishing, and a good way to start off your day.

I try to eat something different each day. Get alot of variety and nutrition.
