I have just started a creatine cycle and I have been drinking my whey shake as usual within 10 minutes of my workout and I take the creatine about 10 minutes after that.
Does the order matter? Or should I be taking one before the other? I don't take them together because I mix the creatine with gatorade for the sugar spike.
Go ahead and mix the creatine and whey together. If you want an insulin spike, wait about 15 minutes after you drink the whey/creatine combo and have some Gatorade. You don't want to prematurely spike your insulin, that's why its better to wait (I learned that from a diebetic on creatine). The powdered G-ade has a higher glycemic index (GI) because it has glucose instead of high-fructose corn syrup. I've always prefered the powdered form. And, its cheaper in the long run.

I prefer taking the creatine with gatorade. I don't really like creatine in the shake. I'll just wait the extra couple of minutes after I have my shake, then take the creatine with the gatorade. Thanks
