My protein powder is 44 protein, 4 carb, and 4 fat per shake. I JUST realized that I'm out, and there is no where here to buy more until tomorrow. I start a new job tomorrow that I get up at 4am for and drive a long commute to be at work at 8am and get done at 5pm with a drive home. I won't be able to buy any until at least 5pm tomorrow evening.
My dilema is that I have two meals during the day while at work that are protein shakes.
What can I substitute that is just as convenient, around the same protein, with no more than 4 carb and 4 fat?

Try a local walmart they are always open...especially if you have a supercenter...they carry crap protein supplements but it's better than nothin....other wise grill up some chicken. You can always take away some fatty foods out of your other meals to make up the difference...one day out of 365 isn't going to kill you...

oh...one more thing...always have a safe keep of protein bars and protein mix for when you get in a bind like this...

This doesn't help you, but what kind of powder is it that has 44g? Is that per scoop? How many grams is the scoop? I've been looking for something more concentrated to use in recipes.

I use Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. It's 2 scoops or 56 - 58 grams. It is 44 protein, 4 carb, and 4 fat. 75-79%protein. I use the Vanilla.
I went with chicken breasts for today. Worked out pretty well.
